PSEG Long Island
Home Performance with Energy Star
After you receive your no cost comprehensive home energy audit, you’ll be eligible to receive valuable rebates from PSEG Long Island:
Customers with oil, propane or electric heat, OR central AC receive a 15% rebate off eligible energy efficiency measures up to $3,000.
Income-eligible customers may receive a 50-100% rebate up to $4,000.
Low-Interest Financing with NYSERDA:
NYSERDA Smart Energy Loan - Homeowners may be eligible to qualify for low-interest financing for efficiency upgrades through NYSERDA — a New York state-sponsored program helping homeowners achieve energy efficiency and enhance their home's comfort. Loans are available from $1,500 up to $25,000 with possible terms from 5 to 15 years. Approval is subject to the homeowner's credit score and financial history and interest rates are determined by income level.
Town of Babylon Financing Program
Customers who live in the Town of Babylon and own their home may also be eligible for a loan from the Long Island Green Homes Program. They offer a special low-interest program that can qualify you for up to $15,000 for energy saving measures with NO credit check.
